I usually leave stuner for a couple of minutes after selecting a chassis, letting it load first before doing anything, no lag after that. I'm not so sure why it lags at the start for me, I think I have a pretty decent system for it. (C2D @ 3.2GHz w/ 4GB RAM)

Haven't tried the mobile app for it, though, might get it later just to see how it fares compared to the web version.

if that's the case then it's likely just a bandwidth thing

Yeah, that might be it. If Lonewolf ran it well on a net cafe, probably just my home net that's a bit weak.

Probably right, its a detailed 3D model after all in a web browser so it's using the cache as well

I tried running this at home, C2Q @ 2.33Ghz with 2GB RAM
Ba~d, delays are at the worst level possible @.@

Additional processing power coming from the GPU maybe? Because at the moment, I only have a legacy GPU (GeForce 6500) put in.
CBF to swap it out for something more powerful than an 8500.
Overall system slow down too, with this old card.

If you're running a 64-bit OS then maybe that's the problem.

The system is on XP x86
I'd be having more than 2GB RAM if I'm on x64 :lol2;

@Millenium Jade R34 - Try and limit your reflections bar to the 2nd character of the hex code, it'd come out glossy. From there, adjust the pearl effect to what's similar with metallic paints (probably around the 6th hex character)

Tip: Use the hex code characters as a means of measuring the intensities of the two bars.

If my explanation is confusing, just lower the bars and play around with the reflection stuart2.gif

@Lonewolf
Probably bandwidth like Phil said. I don't think it's the GPU since I already have a GTX650 and I'm still lagging when stuner is newly loaded.

Oh well stuart2.gif

Oh! A Starion?! Imma go and see if it loads on Android too laugh.gif
They don't have a dedicated app by the way, just download 3D Car Tuner and Adobe AIR on Google Play, and add "stuner.net" as an external website in the app.

For some reason, stuner's been real fine from startup now. Oh well, just gonna share a couple I've done. Still haven't experimented with the importing backgrounds and graphics.

Dude your car's positioned as if it's like a plane taking off the road...odd rolleyes.gif

The thing is that it sure takes a lot of work if you were to adjust the car on an imported background (especially the camera angles...massive adjustments needs to be done on the X/Y/Z angles and FOV in order the car is positioned well into the imported background)

Anyways I've remade the Starion I made earlier...this time decorating it with a close look of the Works sticker it has from WMMT cool.gif

Yup...using Photoshop...like I said previously custom graphics can be imported into the app...but adjusting them to the right size proves to be a chore...its much easier to add and adjust custom vinyls with Photoshop (what I do is make a plain car first...take a few screenshots with it...and later add them on with Photoshop)

Also I used Google Search to find any logos/pictures that I plan to apply onto the car I made...usually getting them in PNG format as they're easily adjustable in Photoshop itself

Does this app read transparency (alphas) ?
There might be a way to import images without them being painted over by the car's color.
Try masking.

What's with the wheel offset? Why no rear fenders?

Unless you like them that way.

No idea...the built in import custom option in S-Tuner seems to be something basic...Photoshop's the better way to slap on some personal custom decals...more easier to adjust size and transparency

Made another one back in the weekend...got featured in the S-Tuner Facebook timeline page again just like the Fuji Speedway Starion above
